National Health Reform
After entering the White House this January, President Barack Obama has made it clear that national health reform is his top domestic priority.  Leading Massachusetts once again, Senator Moore has been welcomed by the President to be part of a new group entitled "White House Working Group of State Legislators for National Health Reform," which consists of 47 state legislators from all over the country.  Each legislator will offer their strengths and weaknesses of health care within their respective state, and collectively, all legislators will contribute to the final product offered by the Obama Administration.

Increasing Health Care Access and Affordability
In 2006, Massachusetts enacted landmark health care reform legislation designed to give every citizen access to quality, affordable health care coverage. As Senate chair of the legislative Conference Committee on the health care reform legislation, Senator Moore was among the principal authors who crafted the law.
