Moore releases health analysis at district health fair

During a community health fair held at Nichols College, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, released a health analysis of his senatorial district which was compiled by Oxford High School senior Zachary Tsetsos. The report studied the causes of premature death in the Worcester & Norfolk district and examined the relationship between premature death and access to health care.

Massachusetts selected to participate in State Quality Improvement Institute

Massachusetts has been selected to participate in the State Quality Improvement Institute, a highly competitive and intensive program to help states plan and implement efforts to improve health care quality, according to Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge. The Institute is a collaboration of AcademyHealth and The Commonwealth Fund.

Moore votes for cost-containment health care legislation 
Bill advances next phase of Health Care Reform 

During Thursday’s formal session, the Senate passed the next phase of the Commonwealth’s two-year-old landmark health care reform with a package of new initiatives aimed at bringing down escalating health care costs and creating greater access to primary care, according to the bill’s key architect, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge.
