| Civil service examinations for public safety jobs scheduled |

March 15, 2006 - Senator Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge) informs constituents of a recruitment campaign currently underway for the upcoming entry-level Civil Service Examinations for Parole Officer A/B and Transitional Parole Officer, scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2006 and Firefighter, Municipal Service, scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2006. These entry-level public safety examinations, administered by the Human Resources Division, are two of the most important examinations that will be conducted in the coming months. The lists that will result from these examinations will determine the pool of applicants eligible for appointment to the position of Municipal Civil Service Firefighter and Parole Officer. The application deadline for the parole officer examination is March 27, 2006. Interested individuals can also apply online at www.csexam.hrd.state.ma.us/hrd For the firefighter examination, applicants must sign up by April 24, 2006 to avoid an additional $25 processing fee. No applications will be accepted after May 15, 2006.
