Senator Moore welcomes the Oxford school committee, student council and administrators to the State House

May 18, 2006 - Senator Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge) recently welcomed members of the Oxford school committee and student council to the State House for the annual Massachusetts Association of School Committees Day on the Hill. School committee members from towns across the state met with their legislators to discuss issues such as funding for regional and local transportation, charter school reform, and adequate and equitable distribution of Chapter 70 school aid. In addition to meeting with Oxford school committee members, Senator Moore also had the opportunity to talk to students and answer questions on issues which are of concern to them.
