June 12, 2006 - On Friday, June 16, 2006 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Massachusetts School Building Authority will be holding a hearing on its new draft regulations at Blackstone Valley Tech, 65 Pleasant Street, Upton, according to Senator Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge)
“I encourage local officials and school committee members to attend this important hearing,” said Senator Moore. “These regulations establish the requirements, standards, and procedures for the program’s application process and the awarding of school building grants by the MSBA.”
The regulations that the Authority will promulgate (963 CMR 1.00 et seq.) set forth the MSBA's authority and responsibility in the effective planning, management and financial sustainability of the school building assistance grant program.
