October 30, 2006... Last week, Senator Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge) visited the Blackstone Valley Boys and Girls Club to present checks to the Blackstone Valley and the Webster-Dudley Boys & Girls Club. Senator Moore played a significant role in securing funding for The Massachusetts Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs during the FY 07 budget debate. The funds allocated to the Alliance will support the Power Hour after school program at the local clubs. Boys and Girls Clubs across Massachusetts provide life changing programs and services to more than 190,000 children. |
