Senator Moore talks long-term care, sponsors senior center luncheon

 Sen. Moore talks with constituent at the Bellingham Senior Center


November 1, 2006...On Wednesday, November 1st, Senator Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge) attended a luncheon at the Bellingham Senior Center, 40 Blackstone Street, Bellingham to talk about the Prescription Advantage program and long-term care. 

“Massachusetts is constantly making improvements to the way we provide support and services to our elder population,” Moore said. “The Prescription Advantage program and the long-term care services have changed to meet their needs. We need to ensure that these seniors and their families understand the range of options for long-term care and prescription programs now available to them. 

Senior citizens had lunch sponsored by Senator Moore at the Bellingham Senior Center from 11:00 to 1:00pm and learned about the changes in long-term care options and the Prescription Advantage Program. 

Senator Moore represents the Worcester and Norfolk district, which consists of the towns of Bellingham, Blackstone, Douglas, Dudley, Hopedale, Mendon, Milford, Millville, Northbridge, Oxford, Southbridge, Sutton, Uxbridge, and Webster.
