Brander lands State House internship

August 13, 2007...Jason Brander is a 20 year-old college student from South Yarmouth, MA who will be garnering real work experience with Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge this summer. He is an avid writer who has contributed to several publications, including The Cape Cod Times, The Los Angeles Lawyer and The Apprentice Writer. His work experience spans from the press room of Los Angeles City Attorney Rockford Delgadillo to retail sales at a jewelry factory outlet on Cape Cod.

Brander, who will be a junior at Bates College in Lewiston, ME., has conducted scientific and legal research for the Bates Psychology Department and Internet for Lawyers, Inc., respectively. For the past two years, Jason has participated in a mentorship program at a local Lewiston Elementary School, which he plans to continue in the fall. He has also dedicated considerable time to the Dennis and Yarmouth communities by co hosting a youth runner's clinic with his cross country high school team. 

Brander enjoys photography, running, travel, and film and music studies. He is a psychology major and plans to study abroad during the spring 2008 semester.
