Civil Service examinations for municipal firefighter jobs scheduled
January 7, 2008 ... Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge is pleased to inform constituents of a recruitment campaign currently under way for the upcoming entry-level Firefighter’s Civil Service Examination, scheduled for April 26, 2008. This entry-level public safety examination, administered by the Human Resources Division, is one of the most important examinations that will be conducted in the coming months. The lists that will result from this examination will determine the pool of applicants eligible for appointment to the position of Municipal Civil Service Firefighter in cities and towns covered by the Civil Service Statute. Applicants must submit their application by March 18, 2008 to avoid an additional $25 processing fee. No applications will be accepted after April 1, 2008.
