Sen. Richard T. Moore, Senate Chair, and Rep. Patricia Walrath, House Chair, of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing meet with public health students at the Massachusetts Health Policy Student Forum.

January 24, 2008 ... At a recent meeting of the Massachusetts Health Policy Student Forum, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, met with graduate students in public health, medicine and health policy from colleges and universities throughout the Commonwealth to discuss the workings of state government. 

The theme of this year’s discussion was health care reform implementation within the framework of quality and cost control. Sen. Moore was a key architect of last year’s landmark health care reform and continues to advocate for affordable, accessible, and safe care in the Legislature.

The Massachusetts Health Policy Student Forum is a collaboration of the Schneider Institute for Health Policy at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
