March 6, 2008 ... For the second consecutive year, the nation’s community pharmacies announced that Massachusetts ranks first in the nation when it comes to transmitting prescriptions electronically. Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, a strong advocate for e-prescribing, attended the event and joined with US Senator John Kerry, D-Massachusetts, in accepting the honor on behalf of the Commonwealth. In addition to the statewide honor, Dr. Kenneth Guarnieri of Webster was honored as one of the nation’s leading e-prescribers. |
