May 7, 2008 ... During a recent stop in Milford, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, presented Milford’s Michael Minichiello with a Senate Citation for his recognition as “Senior of the Year” by the Milford Council on Aging. Sen. Moore recognized Mr. Minichiello for his years of service to the Town of Milford and the many organizations for which he selflessly volunteers. Born in 1925, Mr. Minichiello grew upon Cedar Street and attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and is a 1943 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. In addition, Mr. Minichiello is a veteran of World War II, having served as a member of the Naval Seabees. |
