Only elected official recognized for achievement

October 31, 2008...The Massachusetts Medical Law Report has selected Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, as one of thirty honorees for the first ever "Rx for Excellence Awards" honoring best practices in medicine. The Medical Law Report, published quarterly by Massachusetts Lawyer's Weekly, provides legal news for health care professionals. Moore and his fellow honorees were saluted today at an awards ceremony and breakfast at the Taj Hotel in Boston.

"It's certainly a special honor to be recognized by the premier publication in health law, and to be among such an elite group of honorees," said Moore. "My top legislative priority is to give the citizens of Massachusetts safe, high quality, and affordable health care across the state, and I am deeply humbled to be recognized for this work."
