Sen. Moore thrilled to see another “win”
November 26, 2008...After seeking votes for an election that was not his own, Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, was thrilled to hear this past weekend that Liz McCartney—nominated as one of CNN’s “Heroes of the Year,” had won the newly founded contest’s award after more than a million readers placed their votes. State legislators and senior legislative staff from places like North Carolina, Delaware, Florida, Virginia, Georgia, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Utah as well as Massachusetts, participated in this program.
