Sen. Moore visits with Milford Boy Scout Troop 4

February 11, 2010 ... Sen. and Mrs. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, enjoy pancakes served by Milford Scout Troop 4 at St. Mary's of the Assumption Parish Center last Sunday, February 7. Sen. Moore, a frequent speaker at Eagle Scout Courts of Honor, is a long-time supporter of the scouting program and, this week, introduced a Senate Resolution honoring the Boy Scouts of America on the one hundredth anniversary of the organization. The Boy Scouts of America have served more than one hundred million members since its foundation, including a host of U.S. Representatives, Senators, Governors, Astronauts, Nobel Prize winners, Cabinet members, and one President, Gerald R. Ford. (Courtesy Photo by Nancy Ahrens)
