Moore welcomes Northbridge Girl Scouts to the State House

Group tours Senate chamber and meets Governor

June 19, 2012 ... In an effort to profit from their summer vacation, Brownies from Girl Scout Troop 30356 in Northbridge ventured into Boston to learn more about the history of Massachusetts and how state government operates. While on their trip, the group stopped by the State House to take a tour of the capitol building and visit with Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, who showed the 14 young ladies and their chaperones, head leader Michelle Brusso, co-leader Kathy Morrissey, co-leader Danielle Kramer, and parent Lisa Ells, around the Senate Chamber. During the tour, the group ran into Gov. Deval Patrick to whom Sen. Moore introduced the girls.
